How can you destress and calm down?

i dont know how.
Answer:
- less caffeine
- herbal teas
- yoga
- exercise in general
- music
- escape to a park
- talk with a friend
- soak in a hot bath
- put things in perspective
Try yoga.
Yoga take a nap practice breathing.

get a Massage or Acupunture..it really dosnt hurt at all the needles are liek a cat whicker thin an flexible...it is the most calming thing i know
i used to take hot bubble baths with my fav music on.. turn the lights off an use lots and lots of candles... if you buy one of those tart burners ... go to yankee candle to buy one thats called sage and citrus... melt one of them... and or put a nice scented oil in ur bath ... *SIGHS* aaa i love doing that.. :)
have a good lovemaking session, then smoke a cigarette

Find somewhere secluded, in the country, near nature. A spot by a creek, a place by a pond, somewhere away from the hustle and bustle. Take a good book, a picnic, and spend the day relaxing.
Do you have a pet? I spend time with my horses in their pasture and this relaxes me.
Or .. run a hot bath, fill the tub with bubbles, have some wine or beer or a mixed drink if y ou drink, some tea or juice if you don't. Light candles, read a good book while soaking, light some incense.
Curl up in your most comfy clothes on the couch with some chocolate, grapes and cheese, and a good book or a great movie.
Breathe. Deeply. Do it again. Imagine your body relaxing . turning a cool blue from your head to toes, slowly .
