My friend was 17,all his life he's had seizures.My question is,why did he die now ? Out of all the seizure's he's had why did this one kill him? And Docs out there??

I am assuming your friend was epileptic. Sudden Death is a known phenomena among Epileptics at night. According to post mortem studies apparently this occurs either due to an irregular heart rhythm brought about by the seizure or due to an insufficient airway during the postictal state following a seizure. When epileptics sleep alone baby monitors have sometimes been installed to alert other in the house of a seizure occurring during the night. Sorry about your friend but he did not loose the will to live. The postictal state is unconscious so I hope you can take some comfort in knowing that your friend was not panicked or in pain
More likely than dying from the seizure, he had some other problem...a blood clot or fat embolism, weak heart, something like that which was aggravated by the seizure.
